The newly introduced Hongqi H7 made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026. The executive sedan features a sleek, coupe-like silhouette measuring 5060 mm in length, highlighted by a semi-closed front fascia with vertical air intakes, split headlamps, semi-flush door handles, and a continuous rear taillight arrangement. Despite manufacturer classification within the premium mid-size tier, its substantial overall length surpasses long-wheelbase rivals such as the BMW 3 Series L and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Under the hood, the H7 utilizes a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) powertrain pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric drive unit. The interior emphasizes passenger luxury with dual-pane acoustic glass, Nappa leather upholstery, and an executive rear seat offering a lounge mode with footrest extension. The vehicle is also equipped with a Level 2+ advanced driver assistance suite that includes lane-keeping assist and adaptive distance control.
