Hongqi G919 I gallery (2026–present)

The first-generation Hongqi G919 represents the brand's inaugural entry into the full-size body-on-frame off-road vehicle market. The SUV features a distinctive upright silhouette with an imposing waterfall grille, floating roof styling, all-terrain tires, and a side-hinged rear tailgate fitted with an external cargo box. The foundation consists of a dedicated heavy-duty ladder frame equipped with adaptive air suspension, front and rear differential lockers, and a high-voltage electrified all-wheel-drive system.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain integrates a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with four individual electric motors producing a combined electric output of 520 kW (707 hp) and 1,200 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The traction battery delivers an electric-only driving range of up to 280 km (CLTC), contributing to a combined driving range of 1,350 km. Advanced autonomy is handled by the Hongqi Sinan 5.0 system featuring a 384-line roof-mounted LiDAR sensor.
