The first-generation Haval Menglong (Raptor) with body code B26 is a rugged compact crossover SUV produced by Great Wall Motor since 2023, offering hybrid and ICE powertrains.
The Haval Menglong compact off-road styled crossover SUV, carrying factory body code B26, was launched in October 2023 and is marketed internationally under the Haval Raptor nameplate. Featuring a boxy retro design with a side-hinged tailgate, exterior spare tire, and 200 mm of ground clearance, the vehicle is constructed on GWM reinforced unibody platform with a 2,738 mm wheelbase. In 2026, the longer seven-seater Raptor Plus joined the range with a 2,850 mm wheelbase. The initial launch versions featured the Hi4 plug-in hybrid system pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with dual electric motors for total outputs of 373 to 383 horsepower. Battery packs of 19.1 kWh or 27.5 kWh provide EV driving ranges between 102 km and 145 km. A traditional petrol model arrived in 2025, powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine outputting 238 horsepower mated to a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission. The interior combines heavy-duty physical control toggles, a digital cluster, a large central touchscreen, and terrain select drive modes. The Menglong is sold in China and exported to markets in Latin America and Eurasia.
