Introduced in 2020 on the modular LEMON platform, the Haval Jolion compact crossover quickly became one of the brand's international best-sellers in key export markets.
Replacing the H2, the Haval Jolion compact crossover utilizes the modular LEMON platform featuring MacPherson front struts and either a torsion-beam or multi-link rear suspension depending on the drivetrain. Power comes from a 1.5-litre GW4B15A turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 143 or 150 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Certain overseas markets also offer a hybrid HEV derivative generating 190 total horsepower. Drivetrain options encompass front-wheel drive and intelligent all-wheel drive using an electronic coupling. Interior amenities feature a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, head-up display, 360-degree cameras, adaptive cruise control, and a rotary gear selector. Cold-climate markets benefit from a comprehensive winter package including a heated windshield, heated washer nozzles, heated steering wheel, and heated front and rear seats. Localized manufacturing takes place in Russia at the Tula plant alongside production facilities in Thailand and Uzbekistan.
