Manufactured between 2011 and 2016, the Great Wall Voleex C50 was a compact sedan that introduced the brand's first turbocharged gasoline powertrain paired with advanced safety standard features.
Introduced in late 2011, the Great Wall Voleex C50 represented a step forward in sophistication and performance for the automaker's passenger lineup. Built on a front-wheel-drive compact platform with a generous 2700 mm wheelbase, the C50 features an independent MacPherson strut front layout and an independent double-wishbone rear suspension setup. Power comes from Great Wall's pioneer 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder GW4G15T gasoline engine, producing 133 horsepower and 188 Nm of torque, linked to a five-speed manual transmission. The C50 earned a five-star rating in C-NCAP safety testing due to its high-strength steel body structure and comprehensive safety engineering. Inside, the cabin offers a distinctive two-tier dashboard, leatherette seating options, and modern tech integration. Depending on the trim, equipment includes automatic climate control, a touchscreen multimedia unit, keyless entry with push-button start, tire pressure monitoring, and electronic stability control. The Voleex C50 was retailed in domestic Chinese markets and exported to regions across South America, the Middle East, and parts of Eurasia.
