Launched in early 2022, the Great Wall King Kong Poer was developed as a heavy-duty workhorse pickup positioned alongside the standard Poer range. Built on the rugged P04 ladder-frame platform shared with the second-generation Haval H5, the King Kong Poer comes in standard and extended wheelbase formats measuring up to 5635 mm in total length with a 3410 mm wheelbase. The expansive rear bed is specially reinforced for commercial hauling and agricultural demanding tasks. Under the hood, buyers can select either a 2.0-liter turbocharged GW4C20C gasoline engine generating 190 horsepower or a 2.0-liter GW4D20M turbodiesel producing around 163 horsepower. Power transmission is handled by a six-speed manual gearbox or automatic options paired with rear-wheel drive or a part-time four-wheel-drive system featuring low-range gear selection.
