Great Wall Hover H3 I gallery (2009–2019)

Introduced in 2009 as an extensive update to the original Hover CUV, the Great Wall Hover H3 remained in production through 2019. Retaining a traditional ladder-frame chassis with a live rear axle and independent front suspension, the H3 introduced a redesigned front fascia characterized by a revised grille, bumper, and headlight assemblies. Power originally came from a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine producing between 116 and 122 horsepower. Later production years saw the addition of a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine producing 150 horsepower. Transmissions included five-speed and six-speed manual units paired with a part-time four-wheel-drive system featuring a low-range transfer gear. Interior equipment saw significant technological upgrades, including automatic climate control, leather seat upholstery, a touchscreen multimedia unit, parking sensors, rain sensors, and a reversing camera. Local assembly in Russia supplemented domestic Chinese production, catering to high demand for affordable off-road vehicles in Eastern Europe and CIS countries.
