About this generation
First generation of the Volga K50 crossover featuring an updated ergonomic interior and a redesigned center console.
The first generation of the Volga K50 crossover is built on the modular CMA platform and features a five-door unibody SUV architecture. Mechanically derived from the Geely Monjaro, the model is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 238 horsepower, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an intelligent all-wheel-drive system with an electro-hydraulic clutch. The chassis configuration incorporates MacPherson struts at the front axle and an independent multi-link suspension setup at the rear.
A defining characteristic of the first-generation Volga K50 is its tailored interior design, engineered to visually differentiate the vehicle from its Chinese platform sibling. Departing from previous multi-screen layouts, the cabin adopts a single large central touchscreen sourced from European specifications, eliminating the dedicated passenger screen. The climate control interface replaces rotary dials and digital menus with tactile physical buttons, allowing intuitive adjustment of temperature, fan speed, and airflow distribution without driver distraction.
The center console tunnel architecture is adopted from the updated 2026 model year vehicle, introducing a repositioned wireless inductive smartphone charger and enhanced storage solutions. The crossover maintains high acoustic comfort, advanced electronic driver assistance systems (ADAS), and a spacious five-passenger cabin with a generous cargo compartment suited for diverse driving requirements.
