Ford Mustang Mach-E I (CD701) gallery (2020–present)

The Ford Mustang Mach-E electric crossover (factory code CD701, built on the dedicated GE1 platform) was unveiled in November 2019, with serial production commencing in late 2020 for the 2021 model year. It represents Ford's first purpose-built battery-electric vehicle, expanding the iconic Mustang brand identity into the zero-emission SUV segment. The exterior design incorporates signature Mustang styling cues—including aggressive headlights, muscular rear haunches, and tri-bar LED taillights—into a versatile five-door crossover silhouette complemented by a 139-liter drainable front trunk (frunk).

The Mach-E is offered with Standard Range (70–75 kWh usable capacity) or Extended Range (88–91 kWh usable capacity) lithium-ion battery packs, available in single-motor rear-wheel-drive or dual-motor electric all-wheel-drive configurations. Power output ranges from 269 hp in standard trims up to 487 hp and 860 Nm of torque in the high-performance GT edition, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The futuristic cabin features a 15.5-inch vertical SYNC 4A touchscreen interface, a digital driver cluster, and Ford Co-Pilot360 driver assist features. Manufactured in Mexico and China, the Mach-E has earned prestigious global automotive awards.
