The third-generation Ford Maverick (codenamed P758) debuted in June 2021 as Ford's smallest entry-level pickup truck. Utilizing the unibody Ford C2 platform shared with the Bronco Sport and Escape, it is manufactured at the Hermosillo Assembly plant in Mexico. Offered exclusively in a four-door SuperCrew configuration, it features a 4.5-foot multi-position cargo bed equipped with the FLEXBED system.

The standard powertrain launched as a full hybrid pairing a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with an electric motor (191 hp total) and eCVT driving the front wheels. An optional 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine produces 250 hp with an 8-speed automatic transmission and available Intelligent AWD. Off-road Tremor and AWD hybrid packages were added for subsequent model years.
