The 2027 Ram ProMaster City arrives with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, an 8-speed automatic, and versatile cargo or 8-passenger configurations.

The 2027 Ram ProMaster City marks the debut generation in the catalog, signaling the brand's return to the compact commercial van market. The lineup comprises four distinct variants: the commercial-oriented Tradesman Cargo and SLT Cargo, alongside the Tradesman Passenger Wagon and SLT Passenger Wagon. When equipped with the optional third row, the Passenger Wagon accommodates up to eight occupants. The cargo area provides 167 cubic feet of capacity across a 111-inch load floor.

Under the hood, all ProMaster City models utilize a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 166 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped with an available Class 3 hitch, towing capacity reaches 2,000 pounds. With an overall height under 80 inches, the van is tailored for standard urban parking garages and tight loading zones.

Standard technology on the Tradesman includes a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display, digital instrument cluster, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking, with passenger models receiving standard side-curtain airbags. The SLT trim adds 17-inch wheels, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and a heated steering wheel.
