The Dodge Aspen was introduced as an affordable compact car, available as a sedan, coupe, and station wagon. The model won the 1976 Motor Trend Car of the Year award. Despite this, production was plagued by reports of reliability issues and body corrosion, which negatively affected its reputation. Nevertheless, the Aspen remains a notable milestone in Dodge history as an attempt to adapt to the changing market of the time.
