Daewoo Winstorm I (KLAC) gallery (2006–2011)
The Daewoo Winstorm mid-size crossover was manufactured in South Korea from 2006 to 2011.
The Daewoo Winstorm is the South Korean market variant of the globally successful Chevrolet Captiva crossover, built upon the flexible General Motors Theta platform. It was offered solely as a five-door SUV with configurations supporting up to seven passengers across three rows of seating. The vehicle featured a diverse powertrain lineup consisting of 2.4-liter four-cylinder and 3.2-liter V6 gasoline engines, alongside a robust 2.0-liter turbo-diesel paired with either manual or automatic transmissions. Throughout its production run, it received minor updates to interior equipment and exterior details before the Daewoo brand was entirely phased out in South Korea in favor of Chevrolet branding, which saw the model continue under a different badge.
