Daewoo Lacetti II (J300) gallery (2008–2011)

The second-generation model was marketed globally as the Daewoo Lacetti Premiere, built upon the global Cruze sedan platform.

The second-generation model was introduced in late 2008 as the Daewoo Lacetti Premiere, serving as a localized badge-engineered variant of General Motors' global compact vehicle architecture. Built on the Delta II platform, the car was produced exclusively in a four-door sedan body style. Power was provided by efficient 1.6-liter and 1.8-liter Ecotec gasoline engines, alongside a 1.4-liter turbocharged option. Transmission choices included five-speed and six-speed manual gearboxes, as well as a modern six-speed automatic transmission. The exterior and interior design embraced aggressive sport-inspired lines, a prominent dual-port front grille, and higher-grade cabin upholstery. The vehicle was manufactured by GM Korea and retailed strongly on the domestic market until early 2011, at which point the Daewoo automotive marque was completely phased out in favor of Chevrolet.
