Daewoo GM G2X I gallery (2007–2008)

The Daewoo G2X is a two-seat sports roadster, which was a badge-engineered version of the Saturn Sky and Opel GT for the South Korean market.

The Daewoo G2X rear-wheel-drive sports roadster debuted in 2007 and was sold exclusively in the domestic South Korean market. The car was built on the GM Kappa rear-wheel-drive platform and was technically identical to the American Saturn Sky and the European Opel GT. Under the hood was a turbocharged 2.0-liter direct-injection gasoline engine producing 264 horsepower. The engine was paired with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. Due to high pricing and a niche market segment, demand turned out to be extremely low, leading to the complete termination of production in 2008 after a very limited number of vehicles were manufactured. The primary and only sales market was South Korea.
