Daewoo Gentra I (T250) gallery (2005–2011)
Daewoo Gentra is a subcompact vehicle based on the architecture of the Chevrolet Aveo family.
The Daewoo Gentra was introduced to the South Korean market in 2005 following General Motors' takeover, serving as a heavily revised iteration of the global Kalos platform. It was offered in sedan and hatchback body styles, featuring distinct styling updates including a revamped front fascia, unique grille, and upgraded interior trims. Power was provided by a selection of gasoline engines ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 liters, coupled with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle targeted urban buyers seeking economy and practicality, remaining in production until 2011. While the Daewoo brand was subsequently phased out in many regions, the Gentra nameplate later found a continuation under the Ravon brand in Uzbekistan.
