Daewoo Evanda I (V150) gallery (2003–2006)

The Daewoo Evanda with the factory index V150 debuted in 2003 as an executive business-class sedan, replacing the outdated Leganza model. The vehicle was built on a front-wheel-drive platform with a transverse engine layout and featured an elegant four-door sedan body measuring 4770 mm in length with an increased wheelbase of 2700 mm, providing generous interior space. The model was equipped with 2.0-liter gasoline engines (inline four-cylinder DOHC units producing 131 hp) paired with a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. Compared to its predecessor, the Leganza, the new car received a completely redesigned exterior with a massive grille, improved sound insulation, higher quality interior trim materials, and an upgraded independent suspension (MacPherson front and multi-link rear). Throughout its production run, the vehicle underwent minor cosmetic updates, and following the integration of the South Korean brand into the GM concern, it was marketed under the Chevrolet brand in many regions. The primary sales markets included South Korea, European countries, and the CIS region, where the car was appreciated for its high level of comfort at an affordable price.
