Daewoo Arcadia I gallery (1994–1999)

The executive sedan Daewoo Arcadia, which was a licensed copy of the Japanese flagship Honda Legend, was produced from 1994 to 1999 and became the brand's most expensive car at the time.

Daewoo Arcadia is a flagship executive sedan manufactured by the South Korean company from 1994 to 1999, based on the third generation of the Japanese Honda Legend. The model was created as part of a technical partnership between Daewoo and Honda, allowing the South Korean manufacturer to enter the high-end premium segment. The vehicle was powered by a longitudinal 3.2-liter V6 gasoline engine producing around 220 horsepower, paired with a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission. It utilized a front-wheel-drive platform with independent suspension on all wheels, ensuring exceptional ride comfort and smooth handling. The interior featured premium materials including leather and genuine wood accents, while the equipment list included climate control, power seats, airbags, and ABS. The primary market was South Korea, where the Arcadia competed with prestigious local models from Hyundai and Kia, though its high price tag resulted in limited production volume. Throughout its production run, the car did not receive major facelifts due to the relatively short lifecycle caused by the termination of the partnership and the regional financial crisis.
