The first generation Sandero was a hatchback based on the Logan platform, featuring a shorter wheelbase and unique styling. It offered impressive interior space for its segment. A rugged Stepway version with increased ground clearance and plastic cladding was introduced, becoming a massive hit. The engine lineup was shared directly with the Logan sedan of the era.
