Each model year of the letter series took the next letter: C-300, 300B, 300C and so on to 300L. Built in small numbers with Chrysler's most powerful engines (Hemi, later Wedge), they were among the fastest American production cars of their day. They share nothing but the name with the modern 300 sedan.
