General Motors is investing $750 million to prepare its Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan for the production of hybrid three-row SUVs, including the Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave, and GMC Acadia. Launch timelines and specific powertrain details have not yet been disclosed.

The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 lineup adds the rear-wheel-drive Grand Sport and all-wheel-drive hybrid Grand Sport X, both powered by a new 535-hp 6.7-liter LS6 V-8. GM Defense has revealed an unmanned ground vehicle concept built on the Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD chassis with a 100-kWh battery and an 8,000-pound payload capacity. The company plans to prepare a technology demonstrator for Army testing by June 2027.
