Changan Z-shine I gallery (2008–2012)

The compact Changan Z-shine model (marketed in China as Changan Zhixiang, internal project code CV8) was produced from 2008 to 2012, undergoing a mid-cycle facelift in 2010 where it was rebranded as the Changan CX30. Built on a front-wheel-drive C-segment platform, the chassis incorporates MacPherson front struts paired with an independent multi-link rear suspension setup. Available body configurations included a 4-door notchback sedan and a 5-door hatchback. Powertrain options comprised naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engines displacemets of 1.6 liters generating 106 horsepower and 2.0 liters outputting 152 horsepower. Gearbox selections included a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic. Interior features included fabric or synthetic leather upholstery, automatic climate control, a CD/MP3 audio player, and a digital trip computer. The Z-shine was distributed in Chinese domestic channels and exported across Latin American and Middle Eastern markets.
