Changan Raeton CC I gallery (2017–present)
The first generation Changan Raeton CC mid-size fastback sedan has been produced since late 2017, featuring a sleek coupe-like silhouette, modern platform architecture, and advanced tech.
The Changan Raeton CC entered production in late 2017 as a distinctive mid-size sedan with a fastback silhouette, completely unrelated technically to the original flagship Raeton sedan. Serving as the pioneer for Changan's Vitality Motion design language crafted in Turin, Italy, the vehicle boasts a sweeping roofline, bold spindle-style front grille, and athletic proportions. The chassis features a front-wheel-drive architecture with front MacPherson struts and an independent multi-link rear suspension. Measuring 4780 mm in length with a 2770 mm wheelbase, it balances dynamic styling with interior roominess. Early production units utilized a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 156 horsepower paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Subsequent mid-cycle restylings updated the commercial naming to Raeton Plus and introduced a 1.5-liter Blue Whale turbo engine delivering 188 horsepower coupled with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Inside the modern cabin, features include a dual-screen digital cockpit, ambient lighting, panoramic glass roof, intelligent voice control, and a comprehensive Level 2 driver assistance suite. The model continues production for China and international markets across the Middle East, South America, and Eurasia.
