The mid-size 7-seater Changan CX70 crossover (also badged as Oshan CX70) was manufactured from 2016 until 2023. Built on a rear-wheel-drive platform, the chassis incorporates MacPherson front struts and a rigid rear live axle supported by coil springs. The angular exterior styling features defined body contours and protective side moldings resembling traditional body-on-frame SUVs. Spanning 4.68 meters in overall length, the cabin accommodates three rows of seating in a 2+3+2 arrangement. Standard models received a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine outputting 117 horsepower mated to a 5-speed manual, while the CX70T variant featured a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit producing 150 horsepower with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed Aisin automatic. All variants delivered power strictly to the rear wheels. Interior equipment included an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, and a sunroof. The CX70 was marketed in China, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
