Changan CS35 Plus I gallery (2018–present)

First introduced in 2018, the Changan CS35 Plus subcompact crossover elevated the series with a larger body, high-tech interior, and potent Blue Whale turbo engines.

Unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show in late 2018, the Changan CS35 Plus arrived as a larger and more upmarket subcompact crossover positioned above the original CS35. It is constructed on the flexible PF-C front-wheel-drive platform, resulting in expanded cabin dimensions and improved chassis rigidity. Initial powertrains included a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 128 horsepower paired with a manual, CVT, or a six-speed Aisin automatic gearbox. A major facelift introduced in 2021 updated the styling with a prominent front grille and added a 1.4-liter Blue Whale NE turbocharged engine delivering 150 horsepower, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The revised cabin features a dual-screen digital cockpit, synthetic leather trim, automatic climate control, and an available panoramic sunroof. Advanced driver-assist systems include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and a surround-view camera network. The model continues to be a core global export product for Changan.
