Changan Alsvin V3 I gallery (2012–2017)

The Changan Alsvin V3 subcompact budget sedan officially debuted in June 2012 and remained in production until 2017, when it was replaced by the Changan Eado DT. Developed on a dedicated front-wheel-drive platform codenamed B501, the V3 served as the entry-level entry in the Alsvin family below the standard Alsvin and Alsvin V5 models. Measuring 4180 mm in length with a 2410 mm wheelbase, the four-door sedan stood out in the economy segment by featuring an independent multi-link rear suspension setup alongside front MacPherson struts, yielding refined ride quality and stable handling. Power was delivered by a 1.3-liter Blue Core four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 94 horsepower and 121 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, while a 1.4-liter engine was also available in select trims. Standard and optional features included manual air conditioning, hydraulic power steering, dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and an AM/FM audio unit with USB input. The Alsvin V3 achieved strong sales in China due to its low cost of ownership and mechanical durability.
