The Cadillac XT6 debuted in January 2019 at the North American International Auto Show as a three-row luxury crossover. Constructed on the long-wheelbase variant of GM's C1XX platform, it fills the space between the mid-size XT5 and the full-size Escalade. Offered in six- or seven-passenger seating layouts with power-folding third-row seats, the exterior features slim horizontal LED headlights and vertical daytime running lights. The exterior design incorporates distinctive body proportions, sharp character lines, and an iconic front grille featuring the brand's emblem. The primary engine is a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 delivering 310 horsepower, supplemented by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder on entry trims, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Customers can choose between front-wheel drive and an active twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system featured on the Sport trim alongside chassis dampening controls.
