The Cadillac XT4 compact luxury crossover premiered in March 2018 at the New York International Auto Show. Designed on GM's E2XX platform architecture, it was introduced to capture younger luxury buyers as Cadillac's entry-level crossover. The exterior features energetic proportions, L-shaped LED lighting signatures, and distinct trim personalities: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The cabin introduced a rotary controller for the CUE infotainment system and intuitive ergonomics. The exterior design incorporates distinctive body proportions, sharp character lines, and an iconic front grille featuring the brand's emblem.

Propulsion is supplied by a 2.0-liter LSY turbocharged inline-four engine producing 237 horsepower with Active Fuel Management, accompanied by a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel in European markets. It works with a 9-speed automatic transmission and an optional twin-clutch active AWD system. A mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year added a redesigned front fascia and a 33-inch diagonal 9K curved display.
