The Cadillac CT4 compact luxury sports sedan debuted in mid-2019 as the direct successor to the ATS range. Based on an updated rear-wheel-drive Alpha 2 architecture, it preserves dynamic handling genetics with available active all-wheel drive. Exterior styling features muscular body sculpting, slim horizontal LED headlamps, and vertical daytime running light blades. The modern cockpit includes an 8-inch CUE touchscreen display, ergonomic sport seating, and optional Super Cruise hands-free driving technology. The exterior design incorporates distinctive body proportions, sharp character lines, and an iconic front grille featuring the brand's emblem.

Powertrains comprise turbocharged inline-four gasoline engines: a 2.0-liter LSY producing 237 horsepower and a 2.7-liter dual-volute turbo L3B outputting 310 hp, mated to 8-speed or 10-speed automatic transmissions. The performance hierarchy features the CT4-V (325 hp) and the track-tested CT4-V Blackwing powered by a 472-horsepower 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6. The Blackwing offers a choice between a 10-speed automatic and a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission with active rev-matching. Standard and optional equipment included advanced active and passive safety systems, multi-zone climate control, and upgraded interior electronics.
