The Cadillac Allante was produced from 1986 through 1993 as a high-end luxury roadster. The vehicle was famous for its international production process dubbed the 'Airbridge', where bodies built by Pininfarina in Turin, Italy, were flown via Boeing 747s to Detroit for final assembly. The roadster included an aluminum removable hardtop alongside a folding soft top. The exterior design incorporates distinctive body proportions, sharp character lines, and an iconic front grille featuring the brand's emblem. Initially powered by a 4.1-liter V8 (170 hp), it was upgraded in 1989 to a 4.5-liter V8 (200 hp). For its final 1993 model year, the Allante premiered Cadillac's 4.6-liter 32-valve DOHC Northstar V8 engine producing 295 horsepower, complemented by an active Road-Sensing Suspension.
