BYD T3 I gallery (2014–present)

First presented at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, the BYD T3 (originally designated M3 and marketed in Europe as the ETP3) entered production as a light commercial utility van. Built on a front-wheel-drive commercial chassis equipped with MacPherson front struts and a heavy-duty leaf spring rear suspension, the 4.46-meter vehicle offers a payload capacity of up to 850 kilograms. The five-door panel van body incorporates dual side sliding doors and rear cargo access, providing a usable cargo volume of 3.5 cubic meters with a flat aluminum floor. While early passenger variants featured a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and Dual Mode hybrid options, the primary production model became the pure-electric T3. Its front-mounted electric motor generates 136 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque, powered by a 44.9 kWh or 50.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery offering a driving range up to 300 kilometers under NEDC standards. The utilitarian cabin features durable controls, air conditioning, power windows, and digital instrument indicators. Assembled in China and Thailand, the T3 has seen wide international adoption across Europe, Singapore, Nepal, and South America.
