BYD Song L I gallery (2023–present)
The BYD Song L crossover debuted in late 2023, successfully combining a stylish shooting-brake body profile with advanced EV and PHEV technology systems.
The first-generation BYD Song L mid-size crossover SUV went on sale in December 2023 as part of the Dynasty Series. The model is produced as a battery-electric Song L EV on the e-Platform 3.0 architecture and as a plug-in hybrid Song L DM-i. Its shooting-brake exterior profile features a low stance, frameless side windows, an active electric rear spoiler, and Dragon Face LED lighting. The electric version offers single-motor rear-wheel drive generating 204 or 313 horsepower alongside a dual-motor all-wheel-drive flagship developing 517 horsepower. Blade LFP battery capacities of 71.8 kWh and 87.0 kWh deliver a CLTC range between 550 and 662 kilometers. Chassis dynamics are enhanced by the DiSus-C intelligent dampening system. Inside, the cabin includes suede leather upholstery, a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a 50-inch AR-HUD, and a Dynaudio sound system. The Song L is sold in China and international markets.
