The first-generation BYD Sealion 7 mid-size electric coupe crossover was introduced in 2024, marketed domestically in China as the Sealion 07 EV. Built on the updated e-Platform 3.0 Evo, it incorporates a structural Blade battery setup and high-rigidity body construction. Available configurations include single-motor rear-wheel drive producing 231 or 313 horsepower and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive performance variant delivering 530 horsepower with a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 4.2 seconds. Electric driving range spans between 550 and 610 kilometers. Technical features comprise DiSus-C adaptive dampening and silicon carbide power electronics. The sleek coupe-SUV body profile optimizes aerodynamic efficiency. Inside, the cabin houses a rotating 15.6-inch touchscreen, sport steering wheel, premium trim materials, and the DiPilot 100 intelligent driving system. The Sealion 7 is exported extensively across Europe, Thailand, India, and Latin America.
