The BYD Qin Max flagship mid-size sedan made its debut in 2025, positioned as an upmarket performance model positioned above the Qin L within BYD Dynasty series. The four-door sedan features a sleek fastback body style with flush door handles, dynamic shoulder lines, and a wide rear lighting bar. Built on the e-Platform 3.0 Evo architecture for pure electric variants and DM-i 5.0 for hybrids, the car offers single-motor and dual-motor drive options. Electric motor outputs range between 120 kW and 240 kW, while the PHEV model combines a 1.5-liter engine with a high-torque electric motor. The vehicle introduces second-generation Blade Battery technology paired with ultra-fast Flash Charging, capable of replenishing battery state-of-charge from 10% to 70% in approximately 5 minutes. The CLTC electric driving range spans 530 to 630 kilometers. Inside the high-tech cabin, highlights include a rotating central touchscreen, head-up display, ambient lighting, and the God Eye intelligent driving system with roof-integrated LiDAR.
