Unveiled in August 2022 at Monterey Car Week, the Bentley Mulliner Batur is a hand-crafted ultra-luxury coachbuilt grand tourer built upon the sophisticated Volkswagen Group MSB architecture. It debuted a brand-new design DNA for the Crewe marque, characterized by elongated proportions, restyled matrix LED headlights, and aggressive aerodynamics. Beneath the bonnet resides the ultimate iteration of the hand-assembled 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine, calibrated to deliver an astonishing 740 metric horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque, channeled through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and active all-wheel drive. The advanced chassis integrates three-chamber air suspension, 48-volt electronic active anti-roll control, all-wheel steering, and carbon-silicon-carbide braking. In 2024, Bentley introduced the Batur Convertible. Strictly limited to 18 coupes and 16 convertibles, this bespoke hyper-GT represents the grand finale of the W12 era.
