Aurus Senat I photos

The first-generation Aurus Senat executive sedan debuted in May 2018, opening a line of production luxury cars built on the domestic Unified Modular Platform (EMP). The chassis uses a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear with adaptive air springs, delivering a smooth ride and 200 mm of ground clearance. The car is built as a standard sedan, as the extended Senat Long, and as an armoured limousine.

The powertrain is a parallel hybrid combining a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine with an electric motor integrated into the housing of the nine-speed KATE automatic transmission. Drive is permanent all-wheel drive with a coupling for the front axle. During the first generation's life cycle the model received a facelift that brought a thermal-imaging night vision system, detachable media screens, control tablets, driver fatigue monitoring and improved sound insulation.
