The second-generation Acura NSX (chassis code NC1) entered production in 2016 after debuting at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. The hybrid system pairs a mid-mounted 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 (JNC1) with the electric motors to produce a combined output of 573 horsepower, delivered through a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission. Suspensions feature magnetic ride dampers. Production culminated in 2022 with the limited-run Type S variant, which boasted optimized turbochargers, enhanced thermal management, a retuned 9DCT, and a boosted total system output of 600 horsepower. A comprehensive list of standard features combined with proven powertrain durability helped secure a strong market presence in its segment.
