Volvo begins the most massive recall of cars around the world in its history
Volvo has begun recalling 2.18 million cars worldwide due to a defective seat belt.
We add that this is the largest service share of the Swedes in their entire 93-year history.
The review concerns S60, S60L, S60 Cross Country, V60, and S80, which were produced in 2006-2019. The steel cable in the seat belt fastener in these vehicles is often weakened. Seat belts do not work as they should.
Inside Volvo say that now it is not known about injuries associated with this defect. However, Western media write that problematic seat belts have already caused several injuries.
