Volvo Concept Coupe Production is a Several Years Away
Volvo has told about a production variant of the Concept Coupe which has not been approved yet.
The magnificent Concept Coupe was disclosed last September of 2013 at the Motor Show in Frankfurt. Gossips about a possible limited-run production version appeared after that. Few weeks later the C70 was shortened and the automaker gave a promise to make a replacement in the shortest period of time. Andres Gunnarson, the company’s styling manager, stated in Auto Express that a competitor to BMW 6-Series is on hold now.
He continued specifying that the automaker might launch the vehicle; nevertheless their main aim is focusing on the XC90 of the second generation. In such a way, it will take a couple of years before the elegant coupe will appear in the assembly range, it goes without saying if it reaches the production. Gunnerson also said that the Concept XC Coupe, the competitor to the X6, is a little bit far-fetched and there are poor chances for it to go on sale.
