Undisguised 2016 Volvo V90
The latest Volvo V90 has been spotted without camouflage before its official presentation scheduled for the Motor Show in Geneva in March.
The large estate was caught in an unofficial photo released by the Teknikens Varld, a Swedish magazine. The picture confirms that the styling reminds of the Volvo Concept Estate that was presented at the last year’s Motor Show in Geneva. The front part reminds of the Volvo S90 saloon.
The Volvo V90 will be created on the SPA chassis of the Swedish producer. There also will be the familiar choice of powertrains. The T8 “Twin Engine” plug-in hybrid generating 394 hp and the D4 and D5 diesels are among them.
An official launch day is not confirmed. The V90 will be introduced before going on sale in Great Britain in the 2nd part of 2016. The Volvo S90 will be presented officially at the Motor Show in Detroit sometime later in January.
A sporty Volvo V90 Polestar, that was tuned by the brand’s competition arm, will probably appear sometime later in the vehicle's life cycle.
