Meet Volvo XC90 T5 in America
Not long ago the Volvo XC90 was named the North American Truck/Utility of the Year. The automaker wants to keep the whole thing going on and develop an innovated entry-level version in America.
The model will be placed under the XC90 T6. Its price stands at $44,945. The offering is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged V4 engine with an output of 250 hp and torque of 258 pound-feet. It is joined to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a front-wheel drive set-up enabling the car to return 22 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.
A four-wheel drive set-up comes optional. Customers who want it will have to pay $2,000 more. The fuel efficiency of the crossover is kept intact. Thankfully to this, the four-wheel drive version returns 22 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
The T5 version costs $3,850 less than the XC90 T6. Meanwhile, the T5 offering boasts a panoramic glass sunroof, 18-inch alloys and a hands-free tailgate. Power front seats, GPS navigation and a digital instrument cluster are offered inside the cabin. Besides, the car can receive a whole bunch of options except for a third row seat.
