Creative Sources of the Next V90 Wagon from Volvo

Supported by the new owner, Volvo now has a chance to implement some of its ideas regarding new cars.

The company started moving in this direction last year when it presented three well-received concepts. Recently the carmaker has announced that one of them – Estate – will become a basis for the next V90 wagon. Principal difference from the current V70 will imply higher class, and more functional design will be applied compared to the concept.

Current models allow making certain powerplant predictions. Namely, base models have a high chance to be equipped with V4 engines and most expensive modifications might be hybrid.

Two other concept debutants of 2013 will also be turned into production models: Volvo Coupe will see a new life as C90 and sedan offering called S90 will be a level up from the current S80. Such a livened activity of the Swedish brand can be explained by its endeavours to occupy its own niche at the luxury vehicle market.
