Audience in Geneva Ready to Welcome Volvo Ocean Race Lineup

Once again Volvo turned to its special edition lineup to celebrate 40 years after the release of Volvo Ocean Race.

The heritage of Ocean Race is referred to for the fifth time. This March Volvo is proud to present 5 vehicles on the range from V40 to XC60.

Colouring of the cars is determined by the sea theme. Customers will be able to admire special shades of blue, silver, black and white. The vehicles feature peculiar wheels 17 and 18 inches in diameter as well as the symbols of Ocean Race at the front and on the doors.

Special embroidered logos can also be seen at the seats, which are offered in black or beige with stitching in orange, and on panels of the doors and floor mats – in form of plates of plastic. Cargo cover, apart from the logo, will be adorned with the full map of the race.

Limited edition vehicles outside the Ocean Race theme – V70 and XC70 – will also be revealed in Geneva. Both are distinguished by shiny black finish and peculiar wheels. Upholstery of the cabins is black with cream-coloured seams. Sport image is supported by the corresponding pedals.

The route of race which served as an inspiration for the lineup runs through 11 cities of the same number of states and totals 38,739 nautical miles.
