A Second-Gen Volvo XC60 spied!

A WCF reader has spied a hidden prototype of the 2nd-generation Volvo XC60.

We are questioning if that extensive quantity of black body cladding covers the new XC60. Taking into consideration that the next XC offering is in the queer for a refresh and that it has an outlook of a smaller XC90, we suppose that this is really the next compact crossover from the automaker which should be launched at the end of 2016.

The reader snapped the prototype on his camera on the German Autobahn. It is seen that the car was heavy camouflaged. It looks like the Swedish producer began testing not long ago. Therefore, we need to wait a while till the camouflage will be removed.

Sometime earlier the automaker has stated that the innovated XC60 will come with a sportier design in comparison with its larger relative which was developed as a more high-end model. There is a possibility that a hot Polestar variant is in works. Though, this offering will not be available at once.

With the lapse of time, a smaller XC40 will join the XC90 and XC60. It is believed to see the world earlier that at the end of the decade.
