Volkswagen T-Roc R will get a 300-strong unit
Volkswagen has declassified the 'hot' version of the T-Roc R.
A publicly new product will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2 weeks. T-Roc R will appear as a concept. Representatives at Volkswagen said that the prototype is an 'almost serial' car. Perhaps the sale of R-option should be expected at the end of 2019.
The 'charged' T-Roc will have a petrol turbo V4 2.0 liter of the EA888 family, with a capacity of 300 'horses' and 400 Nm. The unit interacts with a 7-speed DSG and a 2nd clutch, while the basic version of the cross has 4Motion all-wheel drive with a rear axle coupling. The same engine has a hatch Volkswagen Golf R and Audi SQ2 cross. The first 'hundred' is typed T-Roc R in 4.9 seconds, the maximum speed - 250 km/h.
T-Roc R has a re-tuned steering, stiffer suspension, powerful 17-inch brakes, and discs, etc.
