Volkswagen Intrigues with an Innovated Premium Midsize Sedan
Volkswagen has started to develop a sedan bridging the space between the Phaeton and Passat.
A report in AutoBild states that the company has not decided which platform will underpin the offering, though it is possible that its MQB platform or MLB architecture used by Audi for few cars along with A6. In both cases, the vehicle will probably be designed with a trunk and interior fitting Chinese and American automotive appetites with a whole bunch of V4 and V6 powertrains.
A wagon variant might be in the plan, though it will not be available for the North American market.
If the automaker will equip the innovated sedan with the MLB platform, it might steal clients from the A6. The report from AutoBild suggested that the innovated offering will not appear until ten years pass.
