$36K for Next Year's VW e-Golf
North American customers may already start saving, for they have obtained the cost of the premiering EV from the German carmaker.
Premium variation of 2015 e-Golf will have a price tag of $36,300 including destination.
The accumulator working as sole propulsion gives the car modest strength of 115 hp and torque of 200 lb-ft. The brand boasts that 70 to 90 mile range in various cycles will eat only 20% of the battery charge, which roughly equals to half an hour ride.
Interior designers managed to simultaneously keep the passenger space and increase the baggage department. Almost 23 cubic feet are left with all the passengers seating, and if only the front row is occupied, folded rear row results in twice larger capacity.
A pair of new scaling mechanisms has been added to the fully electric vehicle: three modes of driving depending on ecological impact and also three braking modes.
The cab of the car packs a steering wheel wrapped in leather and a warm and climate controlled drive. Apart from that, infotainment display is rather large, Bluetooth and rear-view camera are included, and key is not the only access tool. To finish the ensemble, a batch of useful braking and parking features are thrown in.
Dealership release of 2015 e-Golf is planned for late autumn. Note that the car will not be available all over the country.
