Bosses of VW decided to investigate into a stalling matter.

Almost 190,000 North American cars will participate in the recall. The dangerous issue is connected with gas formation within the fuel mechanism caused by transition to winter fuel in regions with mild climate, which also engages emergence of increased pressure executed by vapour.

All this leads to fuel pump’s gradual tendency to malfunctioning and consequently – stalling. Thankfully, no connected accidents have occurred, the carmaker informs.

The massive recall will not wait until autumn and imply the change of control module conducted by the brand free of charge.
