Top Safety of Model S 2014 from Tesla Retained
While investigations of Tesla cars catching fire goes on, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration secured the maximum safety rating for next year’s Model S.
As 2014 offering is not so different from the current model, it is logical that it retains the safety results of the predecessor. However, Tesla still waits for the full report of NHTSA analysing recent inflammation cases.
German colleagues of the agency have carried out their own investigation and concluded that Model S did not have any manufacturing-caused flaws, thus, can be further produced.
