The Rendering of Tesla Model Y
The Model 3 from Tesla has gained success. Remco Meulendijk from RM Car Design created some renderings of the coming-soon Model Y.
The car will be the newest vehicle in the automaker’s “S3XY” range. This crossover takes its origins from the Model 3. Its styling can be called evolutionary. The Model Y features a sportier front fascia and bigger air inlets. Besides, there is additional chrome trim. The car’s déjà vu design can be seen at the rear part. Remco gave his rendering plastic body cladding, an integrated tailgate and a modern roofline.
The crossover will boast a high-tech powerplant that provides lots of performance and high range. Details have not been specified, but the unit is able to sprint from 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds. The Model Y will probably be heavier what will influence range and acceleration.
How much will the unit cost? That’s a mystery, but only for now. The Model 3 costs $35,000. The Model Y will probably cost $5,000 more.
